I need to put together a slide deck for a presentation for an upcoming conference and am running low on ideas. Let’s face it, research presentations can be boring, dull, and uninspiring more often than not. Design matters. I always dedicate a significant amount of time to my presentation and slide design. While presentation software programs provide pre-designed templates you can use, I never go this route. Especially with the title slide. I want the audience to know that something new and fresh that they have not seen before is coming up.
